The University of Cartagena is an Institution of Higher Education of public character, accredited of High Quality by the Ministry of Education of Colombia. It was founded by the Liberators Simon Bolivar and Francisco de Paula Santander in the year of 1827. It is located in Cartagena de Indias, and offers 22 undergraduate programs in 7 Faculties, and numerous postgraduate programs. The University has the Mission of training citizens leaders in the XXI Century and has emphasis in investigation, extension and teaching.
