Yang Qing, professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Agricultural University, member of Potato Professional Committee of China Crop Society, director of the 7th Professional Committee, director of National Potato Industry Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, and judge of National Science and Technology Award. He has been engaged in potato research for a long time, presided or participated in more than 18 projects of the National Foundation for Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of education, the Ministry of science and technology, the Bureau of foreign experts and the provincial Department of Science and Technology, published more than 170 papers in academic journals such as the Plant Journal, PCE, Molecular Plant and Genetics, and obtained 3 authorized national invention patents. In addition, he served as the reviewer of Plant Biotechnology J, New Phytologist, PLoS One and PMBR, and the guest editor of the international academic journal GENES.
