Lei Shu a professor in Nanjing Agricultural University, China and a “Lincoln Professor” of University of Lincoln, UK. He is also the director of NAU-Lincoln Joint Research Center of Intelligent Engineering. He has published over 400 papers in related conferences, journals, and books. He has been serving as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Sensor and Actuator Networks, Specialty Chief Editor of Frontiers in Plant Science - Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection Section. He is also the TC chair of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society – TC on Cloud and Wireless Systems for Industrial Applications. He is included in the list of the world's top computer scientists released by Guide2 research and the list of the world's top 2% scientists released by Stanford University.He received MS degree from Kyung Hee University in Korea, PhD degree from Galway University in Ireland, and a postdoctoral experience from Osaka University in Japan.He is an IEEE senior member and a CCF distinguished member. His research fields include:agricultural Internet of things, sustainable and intelligent phytoprotection.
