  Lei Shu a professor in Nanjing Agricultural University, China and a “Lincoln Professor” of University of Lincoln, UK. He is also the director of NAU-Lincoln Joint Research Center of Intelligent Engineering. He has published over 400 papers in related conferences, journals, and books. He has been serving as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Sensor and Actuator Networks, Specialty Chief Editor of Frontiers in Plant Science - Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection Section. He is also the TC chair of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society  TC on Cloud and Wireless Systems for Industrial Applications. He is included in the list of the world's top computer scientists released by Guide2 research and the list of the world's top 2% scientists released by Stanford University.He received MS degree from Kyung Hee University in Korea, PhD degree from Galway University in Ireland, and a postdoctoral experience from Osaka University in Japan.He is an IEEE senior member and a CCF distinguished member. His research fields include:agricultural Internet of things, sustainable and intelligent phytoprotection.
