Hongxia Liu, Ph.D., professor of Nanjing Agricultural University, worked as a visiting researcher at Stanford University for one year.  The team has developed a series of biological control products for important plant diseases, such as soil-borne diseases of vegetables, viral diseases of vegetables, and some important diseases in greenhouse conditions.  For different crops, we an has established corresponding integrated plant disease control system with biological control as the core.  The team has published nearly a hundred papers and obtained more than 10 national authorized invention patents, including 1 invention patent in 12 European countries.  Related achievements won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Jiangsu Province and the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Chamber of Commerce.
