Prof. Cheng Yanfen is currently theexecutive president of the NationalCenter for International Research on Animal Gut Nutrition, associate editor of the journals of Microbiome, Animal Microbiome, and iMeta, and membership of Anaerobic Fungi Network.

    Her research interest focuses onruminants nutrition and ruminal microorganisms, especially the interactive role of ruminal microorganisms in the degradation of plant fiber and methane emission. She has more than 20 research/exchanging projects funded by theNational Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province,and companies. She has published more than 100 papers, including more than 50 SCI papers, won 2Natural Science Awards of the Ministry of Education, applied for 4 invention patents.
